Project SOS is an IRS approved tax-exempt
organization pursuant US Section 501(c)(3) of the Tax Code. Project
SOS relies solely on the efforts of volunteers and has no paid
employees. See the

Board of Directors
Project SOS is governed by a volunteer board of
directors dedicated to supporting the mission of Project SOS with
their time and talents. The board members are active participants in
the various activities of Project SOS. The Board of Directors
includes parents of affected children, dermatologists with
experience in the field of ichthyosis, as well as attorneys and
corporate individuals. The board is responsible for monitoring the
results of Project SOS operations and supports the achievement of
Project SOS's ambitious strategic goals. Anyone interested in

Cort DeHart – Fort Worth, Texas
President and Co-Founder. Cort is the father of child with Lamellar
Ichthyosis. Cort is a practicing attorney and a Partner in the law
firm of DeHart Crockett, PC.
Elizabeth Berry – Fort Worth, Texas
Vice President and Co-Founder. Elizabeth is the mother of a child
born with Lamellar Ichthyosis. Elizabeth is active State District
Judge in Tarrant County, Texas
Dr. Robin Carder – Dallas, Texas
Dr. Carder is a Pediatric Dermatologist at Dallas Children's
Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Carder has and active practice and has
extensive experience in treating children with ichthyosis and other
skin related illnesses.
Todd Hodnett – Fort Worth, Texas
Todd Hodnett is a licensed attorney and President of National
Recovery Database, a national software development company.
Craig Crockett – Fort Worth, Texas
Craig is a practicing attorney and a Partner in the law firm of
DeHart Crockett, PC., which sponsor the Crawfish In Park, a charity
benefiting Project SOS and Ichthyosis Research.
Marshall Boyd, Fort Worth, Texas
Marshall is President of William Trew Real Estate and BMC Mortgage,
and currently serves as a board member on several other charitable
Boards, including Habitat for Humanity.
Medical and Scientific Advisory Board
Although Project SOS does not have a separate
Medical Advisory Board, its collaborative partner,
FIRST, is fortunate to have an outstanding
Medical and Scientific Advisory Board, an elite group of
nationally and internationally recognized experts in the field of
dermatology. This group of dermatologists and researchers
meets annually in conjunction with the American Academy of
Dermatology, serves as a referral source for FIRST members, edits
publications, supplies and edits articles for the
FIRST quarterly newsletter, The Ichthyosis Focus, and
keeps
FIRST and its members abreast of current research and
state-of-the-art treatments for ichthyosis.
